The years will fly by; an old woman sits in her chair and gazes out the window, a smile on her face. She sees a little one so tender and sweet, eyes twinkling, running through the grass. Laughter rings through the air. A young woman chases the little girl, joy in her eyes and in her heart.

A tear of joy trickles down the wrinkled cheek, as the old woman sees the child cradling the young woman's face in her hands. A sweet, tender young voice softly says, "I love you, Momma." The dear one gently kisses her mother's face. Little hands, little face: so small, so soft, so sweet.

Another tear trickles down the old woman's cheek; this tear is one of longing. Longing to reach out and cradle the dear, sweet child in her arms once more. Just once more.....Please God..... Too late. The fragile, young bud has blossomed into a beautiful, fragrant flower of rarest treasure.

Winter comes; the snow falls. The old woman sleeps.
