Ok. I have this very small bump on my right, middle finger. It’s on the joint just above my finger nail. I remembered my mother had had the same thing, a few years ago, and had squeezed it and poked it with a clean, sewing needle. Well her finger got so infected with staff infection that she almost lost it. I didn’t want that to happed to me! So, I’m leaving my “little white-head” on my finger alone.
I was talking with Mom on the phone today, and she informed me that her doctor told her that the little bump in the skin on the joint is fluid from the knuckle that is leaking out of the joint because it is being “eaten” by arthritis! I guess this speeds up my agenda for “things to do later when I’m older”! I’d better learn to quilt, etc., NOW, before I can’t move my hands!!!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pulling it together: that’s enough complaining now, even though I just turned 44, and I don’t feel old enough to be crippled yet.
If you’d like to post your arthritic complaints, just reply to this message. We all need to vent now and then.
Have a great week, and God bless you and yours richly in Jesus Christ’s Name. Bye!
