Well, this is it! 2006 is almost to a close. :o) How was your year? Mine was full of excitement and interest. I had a very full year!
Now, that we're all celebrating the beginning of the new millennium and making New Year's resolutions, do you ever wonder how time began? When did it start? Has it always been? So many fall for the evolution theory that it's scary. It is, after all, one atheist's theory. Have you ever given thought to how time and the universe really began? Have you ever sat outside and watched a butterfly visiting the flowers? Or better yet, have you sat out there and had a whole "flock" of butterflies land on you - on your head, on your arms, on your shoulders, and then just taken a really close look at those little miracles of creation?
Maybe, you're like me and love to look up at the night sky! Boy, would I love to cruise out there someday and see absolutely everything!!! But, how did it all get out there? It's all too perfect, with too perfect timing to be a random accident.
I encourage you, this New Year's, to take a much closer look at God's Holy Word, the Holy Bible, and see for yourself how, and when, everything came about. Some of the most remarkable revelations, of understanding and of discovery, that I've had are from reading the Bible without any other people being around, in my house, on a week day. After all, that's how I learned that people and all animals first ate only plants. After the Flood of Noah, people and animals were allowed to eat meat (animals). It's in the book of Genesis somewhere, but I want you to find where for yourself. ;o)
And, how about that Flood of Noah? That really messed up these scientists' carbon-dating tests! A global catastrophe the size of the Flood of Noah could have easily dug out the Grand Canyon in no time! All these layers of earth that archaeologists so faithfully sift through - what if all these layers settled after a world-wide, catastrophic event, such as the great Flood of Noah? Dinosaurs, people, lizards, houses, cities, wooly-mammoths, saber-toothed tigers, everything would have been stirred up together during the flood, then settled gradually afterwards into different silty layers. That could have buried some things, that weren't that old, pretty deep. Would everything that God created have made it as fossils in those post-flood layers?
?
It's time to start finding some answers for yourself. Stop believing every, little detail that scientists, who weren't even there, keep telling you about how our world began, according to some ancient relics they found buried in the dirt. God was there. He created it. He knows.
