Angelic Song's Kids' Kraft KreationsTM

Hi! Below, are some recipes for homemade play-dough.
I haven't tried all of them. I do, however, really like the
one that calls for Koolaid in it. That one not only has
the vivid Koolaid color but the yummy fragrance as well!
Happy Crafting, and may the luck o'the Irish be with ye!

1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
3 tabsp. oil (baby oil will last longer)
1 package "Koolaid"
1 cup boiling water
Mix dry ingredients and oil in bowl. Boil water and pour
over dry ingredients and knead until color is mixed.
If the recipe is a bit too moist, add some flour. If,
for some reason, you have to add too much more flour,
add some more salt and a wee bit more oil, too. Use
your own judgment, and add the salt and the oil
proportionately to the amount of flour you've added. Yes,
I've used (and made) this recipe. It really does
have the texture of the play-dough you can buy in stores.

4 cups flour
1 cup salt
1 3/4 cup warm water
Mix. Knead. Roll out dough 1/4-inch thick. Cut out
shapes with cookie-cutter, or try rolling out long strips
and twisting together to make shapes. Stick a straw
into dough (on cookie-cutter shapes) before baking
to make a hole for hanging ornaments. Can paint after
baked and cooled, or put food color into dough when
mixing, for pre-baked, dough coloring. Bake at
300 degrees F for 30 minutes. Makes 24, cookie-
sized ornaments. *Note* My children and I have
enjoyed this recipe for years! You don't have to just use
it for Christmas ornaments. You can make tiny, cookie-
cutter ornaments for decorating those small, bare-
branched, "any-holiday trees"! Fun recipe!

1 cup sand
1/2 cup cornstarch
3/4 cup hot water
Mix. Cook. Knead. Sun-dry objects, if you wish.
*Note* These are the only instructions I have for this
recipe. I haven't tried it, so good luck!

2 cups flour
1 cup salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
food coloring
Add water to above ingredients, slowly, to make a
smooth mixture. Knead until smooth, and store in
a plastic bag or a jar in the refrigerator.
